The goal is for you to love the things you own, and to have a connection with them.

Making for me has always been about the process, the sound of wood shavings off a plane, the feel of a perfect stitch line, the look of a hand made piece, and so on.

I believe these things are important, because the "life" you put into what you make is not just a pretentious way to upsell something, or an artistic belief; but to me completely literal.

Time spent making these things is trading my own life, for theirs.
