How It Started
When I was 8 years old, I became fascinated by PBS. This channel was populated by documentaries, cooking shows, "This Old House," and of course, "The Woodwright’s Shop." Inspired by Roy Underhill’s pure joy and fascination with woodworking using pre-industrial methods, I set out in 2014 with the goal of woodworking by hand.
With all the motivation of a 14 year old boy, I began the process of woodworking by hand. In spite of the slow start, I had enough dedication to stick to my goal. About 2 years later, I found a project that truly excited me: a hand carved lightsaber. After completing the lightsaber, everything changed, and I’ve been on a path to obsession and perfection ever since.

My Goal

These day’s I work on a variety of projects made primarily of wood, leather or steel. The goal for all my projects remains the same since I started; make something people will cherish.
I’ve long disliked the hyper-consumerism that surrounds us. There’s nothing wrong with buying cheap things, especially if it’s all you can afford. The problem lies in the idea of more is greater than better.

We all love new stuff, something new and exciting is, well, new and exciting. But if you go too far, you stop appreciating the things that you already have, and objects lose not only their value to us, but their beauty, their soul, and their story.
Minimalism may sound weird coming from someone selling you products on this very website, but my goal is to make products that you want to buy because they matter to you, because you like things that last, quality things that are beautiful.
